Ok... I am way behind on the blogposts, but I am slowly working on it. Here is a quick one.
LaLa bought a fancy hairdryer while she was here. It straightens hair really fast, due to ionizing or something. Marley came in while I was using it and asked if I would straighten her hair. My mind quickly went back to the hair straightening incident of 2006 when we started to straighten her hair and when she saw the first group of hair straight she immediately burst into tears because she thought it would never go back curly. Needless to say the fun ended there. Once she assured me she would let me finish all of her hair, that she wouldn't cry and that she would hold her head still (impossible BTW) I told her I would. Thanks to the space age device it didn't take long and this was the result. . .
One very happy girl who thought she was a model for about a half hour. At that point the humidity made her hair start to curl again and she was not happy! She suddenly became very interested in the weather and when it was going to or not going to rain so she could do it again.
Just a little lagniappe for the grandparents and extended family.

Gotta run, Jack just came up to me with six opened and licked tootsie pops yelling "Happy Birthday Mommy...balloons!

Love the pics! I am still waiting for some from Halloween....but I'm glad to see these of course!! Marley looks so different with straight hair. I think she's not quite the same Marley without her curls!
